  1. Just finished the 2023 10K. Such a hard run with those hills, but thanks to the weather it kept things comfortable. Well managed and supported, with brilliant marshals and volunteers scattered around the course.
Thanks, and see you next year.

  2. We’re late to enter the fun run online. Are there many medals/goody bags left for those kids that do the fun run if we just turn up on Sunday?

  3. Hi,
Is the event being run in 2023?
I only ask as it says 2022 in the article.
Keen to enter as we live nearby.

    Thanks
    Mark

  4. Hi. I completely forgot to enter my son for the 1 mile run and I see the deadline has passed. Is it too late or can we enter him on the day?
    Apologies and many thanks
    Emily

  5. Hello,
I’m looking forward to the run on Sunday! Please can you advise whether there will be any parking arranged, or where the best place would be to park. Thank you!

  6. Hi Rod,
I have checked everywhere I can look and have had my place confirmed but I don’t seem to be able to find the start time for the race. It is probably me but can you confirm please?

    • Hi Peter, Registration is open from 8.30 to 9.30 and the race starts at 10.00am (it’s on the Race Information page!). looking forward to seeing you there and good luck!
      Rod

      • Hi Rod, Thank you. I will certainly need the good luck, it is definitely not easy for me anymore! How things change. Pete

  7. After seeing the compostable cups at the race on Sunday can I ask where and how these were disposed of. We are looking for something similar for school events. Was a great idea!

  8. Hello,
I see that online entries are closed.
I’d like to take part this weekend, and in entering on the day and therefore still paying the fundraining entry fee, I’d still like to receive the memento/medal. Not massively keen if I’d go home empty handed.
I know that seems like a terrible ‘what’s in it for me’ attitude, but it is fun to look back on medals and events.
Could you give me any sort of guarantee?
    Fingers crossed
    Sally

  9. Hi!
I’m trying to enter the 10k but no joy not sure if it’s the site or my laptop and phone.
    Many Thanks
    Mandy

  10. I’m trying to enter my two children into the fun run and the website is trying to charge me £9 each. Am I doing something wrong here? I thought it was £4 for the fun run?

  11. Hi, I can’t get the link for the 2017 results to work. I would like to remind myself of my time last year so that I have something to aim for. Are the results available ?
    Thanks

  12. Hi is there no way that the race times can be altered? It seems a shame that they overlap. I would like my daughter to do the 1 mile fun run but I would have to accompany her but I would like to do the 10k myself.

    • Hi Kelsey, thanks for the equiry. Unfortunately that’s not practical – we have a road closure for a limited period of time and to do what you request would mean extending that to about an hour, which would be unacceptable. Is it not possible for her to run with someone else?

    • Hi Katie, you are welcome to take a pushchair on any of the courses – they are mostly on surfaced roads except for the Finish into the playing field. The 5k & the 10k both have short sections of bumpy pot-holed road. The only proviso regarding a pushchair is that you hold back clear of the other runners at the start please.
